This is a 1:1 scale prop of the 155mm XM1113 Extended Range Rocket Assisted Projectile (ERRAP). This will be replacing the M549A1 projectile and will be used with the U.S. Army's Extended Range Artillery Cannon which is expected to have a range of 70km.
Paired with the Precision Guidance Kit M1156 which will enable hits within 50m of the target.
The body parts of the 155mm projectile have locator holes for pins (brass wire, toothpicks, etc.) to ensure a precise fit when gluing.
Included with the 155mm projectile prop are renditions of 5 fuses, the M1156 PGK, M9121, M9801, M9802 and M9803. You will require 1/4" brass pipe or dowels for assembling the fuses. The brass pipe will ensure proper alignment of the fuse parts, as well as allow movement of the Precision Guidance Kit fins.
This is a very large model when completed. The projectile model is divided into 5 pieces. The largest piece is 160mm in diameter and 181.6mm high. The total length with a standard fuze is 879mm.
