Buccaneer Martin Baker Mk6 Ejection Seats 3D print model

A set of Martin Baker Mk6 Ejection Seat as used in the Blackburn / Hawker Siddeley Buccaneer S2B. *Includes different Seats for BOTH the front & Rear cockpits. *Also, includes a version to fit the recent Airfix 1/48 scale Buccaneer (includes modifications to allow using the kit mounting slots). All 3 model types are supplied with Straps and no straps options.

The model is built using real world dimensions in Metres. Most slicers use mm, so the initial imported model will be tiny. Set this right using the scale option.

This model was designed for use in 1/48th scale upwards. Smaller scales may work, but have not been tried. For best results, add supports manually to avoid losing detail.It is recommended to use as small layer thickness as possible, and to turn OFF any image Blurring & Anti-Aliasing if possible, especially for smaller scales. Using these thins the already delicate detail too much.

Do not allow your slicer to carry out repairs. These are unnecessary & will cause problems in your print.

For 1/48th, use a scale of 2083.333For 1/32, use a scale of 3125.000

How do you calculate this percentage for the slicer without knowing the model dimensions?To get the right scale, divide 1000 by your scale. IE 1000 divided by 48 = 20.83333. Now multiply by 100 because we want a percentage = resulting in 2083.333 as shown above.
