**Let's keep good gear going! **Reverse engineering skit boot buckle-clasp from a 2018 Dynafit Beast. This clasp can be used on either women's or men's boots, but it might also work on other Dynafit models or other brands such as Scott and Scarpa.
Given the age of these boots, replacement buckles can no longer be ordered through retailers. Therefore, using Creaform 3D scanning technology with 0.1mm accuracy, I replicated a broken boot buckle to be 3D printed. I hope that this project keeps more ski boots from the landfill.
Recommended print settings:
Infill: 35-40%
Note: Accurate tolerances depend on how well callibrated your 3D printer is. The hole is designed to be a snug fit for a 1/8" rivet. If the hole prints too tight, then a standard drill and drill bit can be used to enlarge the hole. *
