USS Cerritos Model Kit Upgrade Parts 3D print model

To quote the show - Nothing is more relaxing then working on a smaller scale version of the ship.

With the current release of the Polar Lights USS Cerritos 1:1400 scale model kit (2025), the first thing most people notice is the lack of windows along the main saucer.The parts that come with the kit are too small to drill out, so I've created slightly larger pieces that will give your ship's saucer the proper look.

Since I was creating the new rim windows, I decided to also make replacement parts for the engineering pod. I've created a new insert for the top of the pod as wellas a new insert for the fantail section. These pieces will add windows to this section of the model and allow for additional lighting.

I am also including with these parts some new brackets that can be used to help with the lighting of the warp nacelles. These brackets will allow the builder to use COB Led's which willgive the nacelles a much even lighted look.

All of the parts have been tested printed in resin and as well as PLA. Thanks for viewing this page and if you have any questions, please let me know.
