My key focus areas with these swim paddles were:
Double curved shape (longitudinal and transverse) so hand and finger positions are in a neutral position / sligthly “cupped” hand.
Must have a VERY good feel of the water and enhanced awareness of hand position and stroke mechanics, especially the catch.
Have the right amount of flex to not make them “dead” during the pull. I have included a thin 1.5mm and thicker 3mm models.
Have finger indentation recesses for each fingr, enabling the fingers and hand to be relaxed and spread.
To be the right size and shape in order to not cause shoulder issues.
I have developed many different designs, but these have had the best feedback from a wide range of swimmers, including Olympic level swimmers.
(Elastics not included, but hole size has been chosen for standard surgical tubing)
