DESCRIPTION

Wheelset Cradles are commonly found around engine sheds and maintenance depots.

This model comes in four versions for different wheel diameters (14.1mm, 16.6mm, 11.5mm, and 10.5mm).

I recommend printing these items on a 3D resin printer to get the best resolution print. As per normal with my designs, there is a balance between accuracy and printability, hopefully not affecting the design of the model too much.

I use AnyCubic Water Washable Resin for most of my items but use AnyCubic ABS Like Resin for anything that needs to be stronger and tougher.

A nicely textured, highly realistic looking and fairly low poly model that imported into Blender 4.3.2 with no problems using the provided FBX import file. I am a model railroading hobbyist who creates freeware 3rd party mod content for the Trainz Railroad Simulator (TRS22). I use purchased 3D models on my own created freeware routes and share it with other TRS22 route creators, but only under the license provisions. This model was easily adapted for TRS22. I exported this model into Trainz Railroad Simulator 2022 (TRS22) and it looked exactly as it should and was trouble free. I am pleased with the overall quality and appearance of this model and recommend it to others, especially those who need content for computer games and simulations!
