DESCRIPTION

This 3D printable model is sectioned and conveniently oriented for you to print in any FDM 3d printer.

You can use the 3D printable file with some foam padding inside as is, or you can use it to create a mould and make reproductions of it.

The model is scaled to fit an adult human head. Remember you can scale it to any size using your slicer software. It is relatively thick on the walls and robust.

A prototype was created prior to the Fall of Reach concurrently with the Mark VI Prototype. Like the Mark VI Prototype, the armor underwent field tests to improve the final model. Before being finalized Recon was already shown to reduce armor silhouettes without decreasing survivability.

This is one of my favorite helmet variants from Halo:Reach which happens to be my favorite shooter game!

Thank you so much for downloading my models and make sure to check out all the other designs I have available for download on this site!

STL and OBJ file types available. Native file available, blender extension. FBX.

Print flat on the build plate using as much support as needed to ensure that the edges at the top are printed as sharp as possible for the seams to be easier to cover after gluing the sections of the helmet. That is for the sectioned version.

Sincerely,

Jorge Zepeda
