This is a 3D printed mod for a ruler to turn a normal ruler into a semi accurate set of analog calipers. If you do not have a set of more accurate calipers you can simply use a ruler, and this set of files to create an analog set of calipers. Obviously, this set of calipers is not as accurate as a professional set, but depending on your ruler, these calipers are normally accurate within a few millimeters.
Assembly Instructions
Note: Some rulers have very little distance between the end of the ruler and the first measurement mark. If this is the case, on your ruler, note the amount of the measurement marks that the end cap covers and subtract that from your measurements. For example, if your end cap covers 5 mm of measurement marks and the measurement you make is 35 mm, the actual measurement is 30 mm.
File Variations
There are different file variations available for different thicknesses of ruler. There are also variations of files for the difference in a ruler's distance from the edge of the ruler to the first measurement mark.
