2oz ACRYLIC PAINT BOTTLES HOLDER 4 X 6 3D print model

This is for to put 2oz bottles of acrylic paint in, or whatever else fits in the space a 2oz acrylic paint bottle would occupy.

Printed on a Bambu Lab X1C but should print on anything other than a dot matrix printer.

I used PLA with 10% infill and organic tree supports for the trays, altough they would probably print alright without supports. The circular cutouts would just be a little droopy. The walls just print flat. I used 0.2 mm layer height for all parts. Never shake a baby. Also, I used a 5 mm brim inside and outside on the walls and a brim on the trays. I did so just to be on the cautious side, as I had one part that started to lift up in a corner. And I added 100% infill around the screw holes on the trays, just so the screw bit into them well without breaking into the infill. I used 2 wall layers. You could probably use about 4 wall layers and not even add in the 100% infill around the holes. The holes in the walls are bigger than the major diameter of the screws so those need no extra infill around them.

I used eight 6-32 x 1/4" screws. I used a tap to tap the holes in the trays, but they will go in without tapping the holes, they will just be a little tight going in. That is the max length the screws can be or they will poke out into the paint bottles, unless you only put 5 instead of 6 paint bottles in the tray. Or, you could just glue it all together. The ledges hold the trays in place so everything would be lined up for gluing the pieces together.

With supports I was using 260g of filament altogether.
