This is a control panel for sound system Genius SW HF5.1 5005.
Three panel models (4 files) can be downloaded as it can be seen in the picture: 1. Clear panel without markers. 2. Panel with symbolic markers. 3. Panel with all markers (symbols and text). It consists of two files, file with panel and file with markers. Two files are intended for dual extruder printer. Single extruder printer should print just the first file. In case of printing both files on dual extruder printer, nozzles of 0.3mm diameter and 0.3mm extrusion width are needed, because the second file with markers needs higher resolution.
I printed for myself the second model and text markers I will add later to it. I would like to lasercut markers on a paper and then paint them at the panel.
And this is the panel’s story: As I started my studies at University five years ago I bought this broken sound system for some symbolic price. The electronic was burned, the panel was warped from heat and controllers were locked. I repaired the electronics but the panel was useless, so I built a new spare panel from paper as it can be seen in the picture. Since then the sound system has been working great. Now, after those nice years together, I have decided that it deserves something more than just a lousy paper panel, so I 3D-printed a new panel for it.
