This project concerns the study of a 1:10 scale radio-controlled car model that can be assembled in blocks. The very simple concept consists of mechanical parts that can be easily printed at home with a common 3D printer, to facilitate the development of the project and the assembly of the model, the model was conceived in three blocks:
BLOCK NO.1: is the front block consisting of the steering levers and the servo motor that allows the wheels to turn.
BLOCK NO.2: the rear block where the electric motor and the gears for the transmission of motion to the wheels are assembled.
BLOCK NO.3: the chassis is made up of three robust parts that can be assembled between them with the use of screws and nuts easily found on the market, being a 1:10 scale model, tires that can be purchased on the market can be mounted on this model.
Even if the structure is very simple, this model is very robust and resistant, bearings are mounted on the wheel hubs to make the sliding of the wheels very fluid. Furthermore, it is possible to mount any 1:10 scale car casing on this chassis as the front holes allow the wheelbase to be adapted to various sizes.
