Compact 32TV lift. Modelled around Hisense 32 Tv. Simple design uses standard heavy duty 24" drawer slides for up down transit guidance. Drive screw is Acme 10mm x 2mm pitch with associated nut (abssac). Motor is geared 12vdc MFA style with (100:1 ratio) 140rpm output (bit noisy). 6mm belt drive to screw (lower thrust bearing incorporated). Ebay type remote keyfob control in combo with appropriate limit switches (the upper limit switch should be fitted when all is upholstered and with the back panel removed. Lid should be just touching the case when the switch is triggered.). Outer case and lid 12mm MDF (PVA glued and screwed) upholstered with faux leather. Just to note the front and two side MDF panels are formed into a glued and screwed unit, thereafter screwed to the base frame with csk machine screws and finally upholstered. Also the upper MDF lid board had an alloy extrusion added to the underside to aid with maintaining straightness, this is full length (15mm x 15mm C channel from B n Q) between the two outermost drawer slides. Helps stop sag in the lid as MDF doesn’t like gravity. Main base frame is from fabricated laser cut, folded and welded steel (SA felt pads to base feet). Upper folded Tv support bracketry also steel. 3D printed parts also used. Power supply was 12V AC (14.4VA) rectified (of course can be direct dc supply, I just used what I had around). Transit time up 60secs and down 60secs. Upper lid currently supports small JBL soundbar. Fits width of typical single bed. Design is stable from overturning when extended however would recommend attachment system to end of bed (or indeed wall) through MDF case. Experimental design.
