Tread Addons for Transformers Generations Select Star Convoy 3D print model

Coming as an interesting request, here's a pair of tread addons for GS Star Convoy, to make the rear bits a little closer to how they used to look.

Once assembled, these pieces simply peg onto the left and right flanks of the trailer. There are some little details inside of the treads, and a convenient 5mm port in case you would like to attach anything there.

These addons sit slightly higher than the wheel base, so in vehicle mode, Star Convoy will still be able to roll around on his original wheels.

In robot mode, these pieces peg onto the grey side panels of Convoy's legs using the rectangular peg hole there and should fit quite snugly.

There are additional 5mm ports on the top facing bits of these pieces, so if you like, weapons and other accessories can be attached on top to give a more heavy arms look!

As a third mode of sorts, these can also be attached in a shoulder canon configuration, though admittedly this is a little finicky as the pegs are a tad smaller than the 5mm holes of the hands.

From the back, this is how the little robot hands are rotated up to hold the addons. Weapon effect parts are added on for more fwoosh of course!

Assembly wise, both sides of this addon set come in separate skirt and tread parts so that they can be printed separately in different colors as you choose, and then assembled for a clean look.

Or if you like the look of our version, the skirt was painted with a Metallic Blue Tamiya spray paint.
