With the bevy of Velocitron speedy bots racing about, here's a display set to help capture the dynamic races and action!
Here's what the overall track segment looks like, with an overhead display gantry for clock in the finishers!
The main track in the middle being mainly flat and coming best with a track markings, is simply printed on a color printer and glued to a piece of foamcore board or cardboard (more on this below). The top monitor displays are also similarly printed out and attached in place.
The track is wide enough for two typically sized bots in their alt mode to race down it side-by-side, or one placed diagonally in a sort of winner's pose!
Here's a look at the track from a more external view, showing the design differences between the inner track wall and the exterior walls. The gantry stem also features a Velocitron logo at its base.

The included diagram shows the various components for this build.
Most of the pegs required are provided as 3d printed parts, with the exception of the optional pegs connecting the Top Monitors with the Gantry Poles. Here, small segments of 1.75mm filament can be used to hold things in position for supergluing.
For attaching the Gantry Anchor parts to either of the Curb pieces, a pair of 5x34mm pegs are to be used. It's recommended not to glue these permanently in place because this will give you the option of flipping the walls about to make for a different look!
If you would like to make a longer length of track for your display, you'll notice that the front and back of the curb pieces have small 5mm notches near their bases. Together with the provided 5x8mm peg, this will allow you to connect the walls front to end.
So, you could technically make the track as long as you like!
Also provided with this set are 3 files for the 2d printable parts:

Hope y'all will enjoy adding this one to your collection and would like to see how it works for everyone's Speedia 500 display! Happy 3d printing! =)
