Highly detailed and fully modular set of the Tantive IV (4), also known as the Blockade Runner, from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. While this set was originally designed and intended for 6", or 1/12 scale, action figures, it can be scaled up or down to fit 1/18 or 1/6 figures as well. However, please be aware that some of the finer details may not be seen at smaller scales.
This set can be arranged in any configuration and can faithfully recreate nearly 100% of all the white hallway scenes on the Tantive IV. Many parts such as the walls, columns, joists, and doorways are registered with keys for perfect alignment and these keys are universally located on most parts so that vertical orientation is irrelevant, meaning it does not matter which end of certain parts is up. 54, 60, and 45 degree corner parts do NOT need to be mirrored to create 54, 60 and 45 degree angles respectively. Parts are designed to be flipped 180 degrees and assembled accordingly. Only parts that need assembly with glue are the back of the doorway faces to their respective frames.
54 degree angled parts have been added to the set as the final and definitive angle used in the original film for the turn at the end of the boarding scene and will marry with the upcoming Pt. 2 set. Other angles have been included to give you a wider range of custom layouts.
Set consists of 49 parts, with alternate parts for those that would like to add LEDs lighting to your configuration as well as alternate parts for those with smaller build volume printers.
Any figures in photos and/or videos are NOT included.
Parts have been test printed on both FDM (Ender 5 Plus and resin (Elegoo Mars 3Pro) printers. It's to the buyer's discretion what medium they use but the instructions do have suggestions on which technology works optimatlly. All holes intended for the 'bulb' pieces should be drilled out with a 7/64" drill bit for easy insertion of the 'bulb'. This information is included in the instructions.
Currently, some larger parts may not be suitable to print on smaller build volume 3D printers. However, additional parts are included for smaller format 3D printers with a build volume of 230mm or higher.
This is Part 1 in a series of set models designed to integrate into one another to build a complete and immersive diorama. Other part sets coming soon but sold separately.
