Star Wars AT-AT - All Terrain Armored Transport
3D model of the AT-AT from Star Wars, made to be 3D printed with as much detail as possible, including areas that are usually omitted, whether the underside of the head, the belly, the inside of the legs or its interior, that is, the seats, interior of the cockpit, engine, etc. The design is designed to be printed and assembled with extreme ease, this contemplates the almost complete omission of supports and all the pieces are very easy to print, all the files are delivered to send it to your favorite slicer and simply press the print button , no need to go crazy looking for the correct position or that the supports may not fit well...
General characteristics:
It measures 300mm from the feet to the ceiling and is 363mm long, thinking that all the pieces fit in a 200x200mm printing area.
The model has full mobility, that is, the legs or head move completely in all real joints of the AT-AT.
They can be opened or closed, the walls or the head to see the interior, that is, if you have scale models you can introduce them or even add some lights.
All the pieces are already cut and ready to send to print
Both the interior and exterior are complete in details.
Tolerances are considered when printing, meaning that the pieces can be made with any printer and they will fit perfectly.
The balance/stability of the model is designed, it has small load areas on the feet, enough to put some pebbles to give it more weight, it has lids to leave them hidden. It remains perfectly stable.
Technical characteristics:
Hot silicone type glue and cyanoacrylate type instant adhesive are required, in my case I used those two, but if you prefer to use others, it will also be perfect.
It requires screws to assemble some parts, in my case I recycled screws that I had in a jar, but to give you an idea, 10mm long needle point coarse pitch wood screws were the ones that gave me the best results, although it is designed to go with some M3 screws.
There are a total of 83 STL's in a .RAR file, ready to send to print without the need for supports, except in a couple of pieces, in places that will not be visible.
