Spool Connector for Filament Spool Display Hanger 3D print model

One of the side effects of 3d printing so much is the inevitable stack of empty filament spools. And together with the constant problem of displaying smaller bots in the collection, here's introducing the filament spool display hanger to fix that!

Coming in 4 almost identical quarter pieces, but each featuring a different number, these can be glued into halves and assembled into spools, These can then be stacked as many high as you like!

Do note - these were sized to fit spools with an approx internal diameter of 80mm and internal height of 54mm. So do be sure to check if that's the same as the spools you do have.

Once assembled, paint them as you like and then you can start to park the smaller bots in their alt mode in there! From our testing, legend and core class bots should fit in there quite nicely.

The lower edge of this set was also given a gear-tooth feature so that there's the option of spinning the hanger around on the spool if that suits you.

As usual, a couple of 3mm pegs and 5mm ports have been designed into the piece. accessories or addon pieces which come with the bots can be stored securely also. Or just to generally give a sense of dynamism to the scene.

Being excited to launch this set for y'all, we had just test printed and painted up four pieces. But making more of these can allow you to quickly have a nice multi-storey display! Hope everyone enjoys 3d printing this set out to help organize your own bot or even other toy collections! =)
