partially prefabricated Scorpion is a Mortal Kombat character first introduced in the first game in the series. Scorpio's real name is Hanzo Hasashi and he is a member of the Shirai Ryu clan. In the original timeline, he was killed by the eldest of the Sub-Zero brothers, Bi-Han. After being reborn in the Underworld, Scorpion pursued Sub-Zero for two years until he was finally able to kill him after the end of the tenth Mortal Kombat tournament. He later returned to find out who the new Sub-Zero was, who ended up in Shao Kahn's tournament in Outworld. Finding out that this is Bi-Han's younger brother, Scorpio vowed not to harm him as compensation for killing his older brother in cold blood. During Shao Kahn's invasion, Scorpion joined the Emperor of Outworld's army, but upon learning that Sub-Zero was among the rebels, Scorpion sided with them to keep his oath. During Shinnok's invasion, Quan Chi promised to bring Scorpion back to life if he helped destroy Shinnok's opponents. He also managed to convince Scorpion that Sub-Zero Jr. was involved in the murder of his family and clan. Scorpion fought Sub-Zero, and after his victory, Quan Chi told him that he was the one who killed his family and clan. The Necromancer tried to send Scorpion to the Underworld, but he managed to take Quan Chi with him. After Quan Chi fled to Outworld, Scorpion followed him. He managed to get to Shang Tsung's palace, but instead of a necromancer, he fought two demons, Moloch and Drahmin. They threw the ghost into the stream of souls (Solnado) that went to Heaven. Scorpion ended up in the halls of the Elder Gods, where they turned him into their champion, promising to resurrect his family if he stopped the Dragon King. Scorpion participated in the battle against Onaga, but the final blow was not delivered by him, but by Shujinko. As a result, his clan was resurrected as ghosts, just like Scorpio himself. He tried to take revenge on the Elder Gods, but was unsuccessful.
