Poseable Pinocchio is a revision of a Pinocchio statue I designed when I first started 3d printing several years ago. This version has been designed with printable parts, allowing one to create an articulated toy. The model has been designed with ball joints, offering a broad range of motion. The default scale puts the figure approximately 120mm. Scale it up for printing, if you wish. Pose, stand, and dis anyway you like. In honor of the holiday season, I've also included a version of the head, with a Santa hat. Designed to be printed in a variety of material types, colors, and sizes. Scale and print settings can impact joint flexibility and connectivity.
Print one of each body part, and 2 shoulderBall pivots. Print the head with or without the hat. Assemble the body by snapping pieces together or into balljoint sockets. Print, sand, and paint parts to finish it off, but avoid painting the areas being slotted together, as it may case assembly and deformation conflicts. While supports are necessary for some parts, many others have been created with flat or flattened regions, allowing for them to be printed directly on the print bed, in some cases (arms, legs, feet, and upper torso). Parts have been uploaded as STL and as a compressed ZIP file. In honor of the holiday season, a special Santa hat version of the head has been included.
