Midoriya - My Hero Academia - Action Figure

Midoriya - My Hero Academia - Action Figure 3D print model

Description
  • Midoriya - My Hero Academia - Action Figure is a 3D printable figure designed to capture the essence of a beloved anime character. It is created using ZBrush software and optimized for 3D printing technologies.

Features:

Character Representation: The figure represents a popular anime character, showcasing their unique style, facial features, clothing, and accessories..

Detail and Accuracy: The model incorporates intricate details, including facial expressions, hair strands, clothing folds, and accessories, to ensure a high level of accuracy and resemblance to the original character.

Size and Scale: The figure's dimensions, including height, width, and depth, will be pre defined to ensure compatibility with different 3D printers and printing volumes.

Materials: The figure is designed to be printed with any available printing materials, but we recommend resin for smaller parts and more details.

Assembly (if applicable): The figure may consist of multiple parts that need to be assembled after printing, but we also include a single piece figure for reference and more printing options. We recommend post-processing techniques, such as sanding, painting, or adding a protective clear coat, to enhance the figure's appearance and durability.

If you want a specific character that I don’t have, I’m available for commissions. Check my profile to hire me.

Thanks a lot.

- I'm still working to make this piece better, so if you have any suggestions ,please let me know

  • The model are using Revoltech joint as base, if printed with Resin the joins work better, if printed with FDM, it is better if you make the joints to be printed at 45º degress, so the filament line don't make you joint more easy to be break
  • The model are working when printed with Resin and FDM, but the joints will soon be improved.
  • Currently we are at the V2 for this model. with the v2 you only need to print the 24mm and 28mm joints they have the same size as the original Revoltech joints with this version i did a simple joint as well using the same sizes of the Revoltech to be printed and used, because you can print the Revoltech version but because the Resin is harder the joint will probably break. I've added some new hand variations as well for the model

  • I Hope you all like it

Are the joints supposed to be pressure fitted into the bodyparts, or glued in?

Pressure fitted, but the sizes aren't correctly compared to the original "Revoltech", i'm working on it right now, so i'll try to launch as soon as possible as a V2 to this model, and have some hand variations as well. thank you for your support

Sorry im new in 3d printing, so can you explain what you mean by " it is better if you make the joints to be printed at 45º degress"? :]

if you print the joints using an FDM print and in some different angle, you will see that the piece looks more fragile when you try to break it, because of the layer, it will always be more fragile when force is applied between the layers, because of that i recommend that the joints should be printed in a 45ºdegree, i think it would be more difficult to break with the force applied.

The bodyparts are really nice, detailed and great quality. Love that multiple face expressions are included. What would be nice, is multiple hand gestures also. The joint system either needs a rework, or i'm doing something wrong, because i've printed them several times, and they are flimsy, move really easily, come apart easily. Not everything fits into the joints perfectly, either falls out or doesn't go in. Also a tutorial for the joint placement would be nice, because not every prong is the same lenght/widht on the same joints (so it obiously goes into a specified bodypart, but it isn't stated which one). Overall I'm mostly satisfied with the product, but until the joint issue is resolved it can't be assembled (or again, i'm doing something not right).

I haven't fully printed the model but it seems great so far, the only complaint I would have is the fact that the Lefts shoe one is missing in the file. besides that it's great, if I had to give any suggestions it would be add more hands and put in a neck swivel.
