IDW Head for Transformers WFC Kingdom Cyclonus 3D print model

Typically avoid working on head sculpts as they are really tough to get just right and pull off the look of the character. This one is no exception, but thought it would be nice to have an alternate head for WFC Kingdom Cyclonus to make him look more like his comic version.

So here goes nothing - presenting our take on IDW Cyclonus!

The new version of the head can be installed by popping off the stock version, and then popping this one on in its stead. The socket inside should be sized just right to provide a snug fit that allows for movement while being able to hold the head position.

Needless to say, it pairs nicely with the earlier sword set - giving it Cyclonus that samurai warrior feel.

Snapping one of the horns off his helmet helps create a closer look also (but we didn't do it yet) :PAlso took care of how it would need to fit for when Cyclonus transforms - so made sure to allow his entire head to still rotate and fit into the chest cavity for his jet mode!

The piece shown in the photos above was printed on a good ol' FDM 3d printer so if one fires this up on a resin printer, the results should be much smoother too ;) Painting it like we did would really bring the design out though frankly, that was an interesting eye-squinting experience to say the least!
