This was overall a good model, but it definitely wasn't built with FDM 3D printing in mind. I'm calling this a positive review because the model is great, but for users looking to 3D print this I'd call it negative. I had to do a lot of work on my end to make it work.
First and foremost the mesh files had a number of errors and at least Prusa Slicer couldn't auto correct them all. Notably with a naive slice attempt the built-in stands that look like they attach to the feet were clipped and the model wouldn't have been printable if I tried to proceed. It confused me for a long time until I imported the mesh into Fusion 360. That's when I saw that there were I think 4 distinct meshes represented by the file. The stands actually run inside of the feet, and the slicer wasn't able to reconcile this elegantly. I had to do the work to combine the meshes down to one in Fusion and then bring it over to the slicer to make it slice in a viable manner.
The two small wings in the back are extraordinarily thin and also need to be supported so it was very difficult to remove the supports without also clipping the wing. I actually broke off the rear left wing this way but thankfully I was able to just glue it back on successfully.
Also, the base has a very gentle slope which tends to pose challenges for slicers; for instance at the time of writing Prusa Slicer only just added some patches to better handle those slopes in their latest alpha release. When I printed this model those changes hadn't landed yet so the base was printed in an anomalous rough manner.
The good thing is that I printed in ABS so I was able to use ABS vapor smoothing to fix up a lot of the small imperfections like the rough base and the end result is good. It just took a lot of work to get there.
