Green Lantern Ring 3D print model

Hi all! I bring you this time a famous ring that I made for a friend. I printed it in Green PLA and the result was very cool. Please, read below to see specifications before 3D printing:

About filesYou will find the original versions made inside Rhino, also some common exported formats for different purposes. Please, check the image with dimensions before printing. Made the proper adjustments in scale for a better fit.

About 3D printing

• I printed my ring on a Creality Ender 3 using CURA as my Slicer. I just used the standard profile for Ender 3.

• The gap between the block and ring is around 0.3 mm. If you don't have your 3d printer on point, I recommend to create a new block with these dimensions: 11.5 x 11.5 x 4 mm.

• The reason behind the cuts are related with the FDM tech. In this particular case, I wanted to avoid aesthetic problems related to the process and keep the ring clean as possible.

• I used Super Glue for attachment.

• Print it with a very low Layer Height. 0.12 mm worked perfect for me.

• Supports are required. Standard supports should be enough.
