Demona is one of the most complex and fascinating characters in the 1990s animated series Gargoyles. She is a female gargoyle of medieval origin, a former companion of Goliath, the leader of the gargoyle clans. Her real name is Dominique Destine, although she adopts the name Demona as a reflection of her conflicted nature and transformation into an antagonist. Throughout the series, it is revealed that Demona was once a loyal ally to her clan, but her distrust of humans and thirst for revenge led her down a dark path. Demona is a character deeply motivated by grief and betrayal. Following the destruction of her clan in the Middle Ages, she blames humans for her suffering and vows revenge. Over the centuries, she plots to exterminate humanity and restore gargoyle rule. Her hatred of humans is fueled by her belief that they are inherently treacherous and destructive. However, her relationship with Goliath and his daughter, Angela, reveals a more vulnerable and emotional side, showing that she still retains some connection to her past and her clan.

Gargoyles is an American animated series created by Greg Weisman and broadcast from October 24, 1994 to 15 February 1997. It was conceived as one of the most ambitious Disney series, targeting a more mature audience.

The series is known for its complex story arc and drama. A clear example of this is the Deadly Force episode of the first season, which shows the consequences of gun violence, including an explicit scene of a gunshot wound. Character development can be clearly seen throughout the series. Over the course of the series, episodes dealt with medieval stories, particularly kings and princesses from ancient Scottish history, as well as world-wide mythology such as King Arthur and Norse mythology, as well as works of William Shakespeare, particularly A Midsummer Night's Dream and Macbeth.

This is one of the most emotional series for us. It really marked our childhood and what can we say about its characters, even today they still look PRETTY COOL. We hope you enjoy this collection as much as we do.
