What's Included:
MACUSA Logo + Base
The wall-mounting bracket is not included, but you can attach one to the back of the model yourself. I recommend using a sturdy metal bracket.
The largest piece of the base is around 25-30 cm (10-12 inches), so I highly recommend printing it on a large 3D printer. For those who prefer single-piece prints, I’ve also included one-piece versions in the set.
The wand holders, golden elements, and other small details are separated into individual parts, making it easier to print and paint without masking. Each piece has connector pins included for easy assembly.
Most metallic-looking parts of the base have been separated to allow for easier printing and painting. Assembly pins are included for these parts as well.
You can choose between two versions:
Stand-only (no wands)Both models are available in my profile.
The longer gold details have been split into two parts for better printability. Some gold pieces also feature thin, independent decorative strips. To make printing easier, I’ve added small built-in supports to those sections (labeled Gold With Support). These supports are around 1-1.5 mm thick (0.04-0.06 inches) and can be easily removed after printing. If you prefer, you can also print the support-free versions directly.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! I’ve done my best to split the model into manageable parts, but for the best results, I recommend printing it on a large-format printer. If possible, go for single-piece prints using something like an Ender 5 Plus or a similar machine.
I hope you love this display base and enjoy printing it as much as I enjoyed designing it!
3D printing settingsI haven’t printed the model myself yet, so I can’t provide exact print settings at the moment. However, I’d suggest:
FDM printing for the base
0.1mm layer height should work fine for most parts
