Extender Piece for Transformers Legacy Metroplex 3D print model

Here's the third piece of upgrade for Legacy Metroplex - an articulated extender piece for Sparkdrinker to allow his drill buckets to reach the floor or be angled upwards in his alt mode!

** A word of warning though - this is a fairly challenging piece to print and assemble and once the two halves are connected, will be hard to separate. (More info on assembly below) **

In any case, then put together, it should look something like in the attached photos, with the inner ratchet pieces able to hold the arms at specific angles.

And now, to connect the extender to other parts of Metroplex, just do the clippity thing similar to how the other pieces connect up.

Now attached, the drill buckets can be further extended and angled downwards to the ground! And of course, lifting it right off the ground into a stowage mode is now possible too!

And never one to miss the chance with presented, this piece also comes with a bunch of 5mm ports for more blasty goodness to be added on!

=== Assembly ===

The attached diagram shows the parts for this build and how they go together.

For the front and back junction, once their ratchets are insert, are to be somewhat forced fit into place. Once these are set in place, the peg will hold everything together.

Couple of other things to note:

• Due to the strength and stiffness required for the parts, it is recommended to print them with more walls/infill. Be prepared to snap a couple along the way as again, this is quite challenging to put together.
• Once the Junction pieces have been printed, snap on the corresponding ratchets into them and then it may take a bit of strength to force
• The clips should be printed sideway to give the 'fingers' the ability to bend slightly and not snap.
• Also, the end caps will need to be super glued into place to hold the clips tightly.
