The archive uploaded contains the following files:
-Original blender file of the model;
-STL file of the Donkey;
-STL file of the bookmark;
-SolidWorks file of the bookmark;
-CURA profile file that I used to print the model
The 3D printer that I used is Creality Ender 3.
I suggest to look on my Cura profile if this is the slicer you use. Otherwise here are the main settings you need to look for.
Layer height: 0.15mm
Infill: 15%
Print speed: 30mm/s
Infill speed: 30mm/s
Brim is necessary for the best buildplate adhesion (I used 7mm).
Resolution: 0.12 -0.15
Supports:
Pattern: Lines
Density: 20%
Support Z distance: 0.25mm
Enable support interface- ROOF and FLOOR 0.4mm both
For the Bookmark file you can increase the speed to 40->60 mm/s and the infill to 100% (there is no need for supports)
DONKEY PRINT TIME AT 100% SCALE: 1h 30 min
BOOKMARK PRINT TIME AT 100% SCALE: 16 min
The Donkey and the bookmark are not a tight fit and I suggest to superglue them together after you place it in the hole. You can also modify it from the solidworks file to make it tight Enjoy the model, and for any information please leave a comment.If you like it don't forget to check out my other designs.
