Darkwing Duck is a cartoon character that became an icon of 1990s animation. The animated series shares the same name as the character and aired from 1991 to 1992. Created by Tad Stones, Darkwing Duck was produced by Disney Television Animation and drew inspiration from the superhero genre and film noir.

The main character, Darkwing Duck, also known as Drake Mallard, is an anthropomorphic duck with a brave and somewhat clumsy personality.
