Here are tips on finishing.

Painting:Painting was fairly simple. I used an airbrush on most. For all the gold parts put down the Satin Black first. I will give it a nice shine.

The barrel I masked off and airbrushed silver after the same coat of Satin Black.

For the wood texture I sprayed all the brown - a few shades and then did a technique called Stippling. This is for the black pattern on the wood parts. I took a paper towel and put some black acrylic paint on it. I put a little water on it to water it down and dabbed it on the brown.
