Allspark from Transformers Animated 3D print model

A key artefact from the universe of Transformers Animated, here's the Allspark!

When all printed out and painted up, here's how it scales up against Ratchet and the earlier Sari figure.

Taking a closer look from the front and the back, one will notice that the handles don't attach to the rear as it would impede with its opening :P

And the steps needed to open up this artefact - first the handles need to be rotated downwards and then the top portions can be slid apart. Next, the front bottom segments also slide out sideways.

And finally, the upper front segments get moved outwards and upwards, and the center lock piece is slid down to expose the spherical core of the allspark!

With the inner sphere removed, here's a look at some of the detailing inside the case. As a fun little option, a variant front lock piece with a little keyhole has been designed also!

As one may expect, this is sized to allow Sari's key to be slotted in to activate it if you so choose!

And of course, with this valuable cargo, it's best to call in more of the Autobot crew to guard it against falling into the cons' hands!

Attached here is a diagram of the pieces for this build and how they go together. To help with visual clarity, only half of the moving pieces are show as they are just mirrored copies.

Due to how the parts assemble and depending on the calibration of your 3d printer, there may be some need to rescale or slightly sand down some parts to get the fit perfectly as you like.
