The Kylo Ren helmet destroyed - Star Wars

The Kylo Ren helmet destroyed - Star Wars 3D print model

Description

Kylo Ren's helmet was a combat helmet worn by Kylo Ren, the master of the Knights of Ren who turned to the dark side of the Force after renouncing his place in the Jedi Order.

This model is a wearable helmet. The helmet is quite big and is meant to be post-processed.

Files contain pieces of the helmet ready to be 3D printed and complete helmet files, that are not cut into smaller pieces.

SCALE

At 100% scale the helmet’s inside dimensions are:

Width approx. 195 mm

Length approx. 240 mm

Height approx. 260 mm

You can scale the model according to your head measurements. It is good to make it bigger and then add cushioning to the inside for a snug and comfortable fit.

PRINTER SETTINGS

As the helmet is quite big, it is meant to be post-processed. We recommend a layer height of 0.1 to 0.3 mm on FDM printers. All parts are aligned to the printing platform for easy manipulation. Most of the parts need minimal or no use of printing supports to save printing time and filament. For reliable printing, we also recommend setting a brim to the helmets shell parts, because of their height and low thickness. It will ensure that the parts will not come off the printing platform during the printing process. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

Do you like the model and don't have a 3D printer? There are lots of people who offer 3D printing services these days. Try searching for someone who offers them in your area.
