Frostmourne - Arthas the Lich King Sword from World of Warcraft 3D print model
Description
Whomsoever takes up this blade shall wield power eternal. Just as the blade rends flesh, so must power scar the spirit.
Frostmourne was the runeblade that Ner'zhul, the Lich King, thrust from the Frozen Throne, intending that Arthas Menethil — his unwitting potential host — would discover it on the continent of Northrend. It was wielded by Arthas, the new Lich King, until it was destroyed by Tirion Fordring following his defeat in Icecrown Citadel.
Frostmourne in split in several pieces for easier printing, square printable pins are included to match the seams easily
The sword is designed to be mounted on a rod of 6mm of diameter and about 100cm of length, it is not mandatory but recommended for extra strength
The total frostmourne length is about 116 cm, you can scale it if you need, of course
The full, non split, frostmourne is provided in .obj and .fbx format if you wish to make changes or split it by yourself

How long should the 6mm rod be?

You are right, i forgot to mention, the exact size is 105cm, i guess 100cm will be fine and easier to find

I havent printed anything this big before. What material should the rod be? I assume metal is recommended.

Aluminium would be fine, also resin or wood should be ok, you can use nothing as well if you are not going to use the sword in any way

I have not printed this yes but looking at the detail just on the modelling itself is amazing, thank you so much I have been looking for a full size replica which is as close as possible to the real one. Also the way it has been sectioned of will help with printing and putting together as it uses a peg system which will make this strong and durable :)
