This is an articulated version of the Nordic sea serpent Jormungandr, 80cm long!. It is a print in place model requiring minimum supports only for the top jaw.
Print the serpent as mentioned below, and make sure to clean the holes with razor blade or anything you have at hand.
For the teeth, you need to cut pieces of white filament at 3-4mm length and sharpen them to a point, and just insert them at the designed slots.
DO NOT SCALE THE MODEL UP OR DOWN! If you do, you will mess up the dimensions of the holes for the teeth.
Print in filament of choice with 0.2mm layer height or lower. It is recommended to use tree supports for the head, while using support blockers for the rest of the body. NOTE: USE TREE SUPPORTS TOUCHING THE BUILD PLATE ONLY
After removing the supports for the upper jaw, MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN THE HOLES OF UNWANTED PLASTIC BEFORE PUTTING THE TEETH IN!
If you have any issues with the serpent, please do drop us a message, we would be happy to help.
