KILLMONGER GOLDEN JAGUAR MASK 3D PRINT MODEL
The mask of Erik Killmonger the antagonist from the Black Panther movie.
The main image is a photo of the post-processed mask. The model is not painted in the 3D model file.
This model is a wearable helmet. The helmet is quite big and is meant to be post-processed.
Files contain pieces of the helmet ready to be 3D printed and complete helmet files, that are not cut into smaller pieces.
SCALE
At 100% scale the helmets inside dimension are:
Width approx. 280 mm (11 inches)
Length approx. 360 mm (14.2 inches)
Wall thickness approx. 10 mm (0.4 inches)
You can scale the model according to your head measurements. It is good to make it bigger and then add cushioning to the inside for a snug and comfortable fit.
PRINTER SETTINGS
As the helmet is quite big, it is meant to be post-processed. We recommend a layer height of 0.2 to 0.3 mm on FDM printers. All parts are aligned to the printing platform for easy manipulation. Most of the parts need minimal or no use of printing supports to save printing time and filament. For reliable printing, we also recommend setting a brim to the helmets shell parts, because of their height and low thickness. It will ensure, that the parts will not come off the printing platform during the printing process. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.
Do you like the model and don't have a 3D printer? There are lots of people who offer 3D printing services these days. Try searching for someone who offers them in your area.
