This is a game based on three-dimensional tic-tac-toe, but its rules have been modified. The project was based on a challenge that appears in episode 11 of the series THE DEVIL'S PLAN which is on NETFLIX. I liked the game so much that I wanted to buy it, but I couldn't find it anywhere, so I decided to develop the project.
Basic rules for the game
Board
The game is played on a plane divided into 16 small cells. Each player marks their moves in one of the cells, trying to form lines of a maximum of 3 pieces horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
Players
The game can be played by up to 4 people, players alternate their moves.
Objective
The objective of the game is to form a straight line of 3 of your pieces that have the same color or shape in any direction: horizontal, vertical or diagonal.
How to Play
Each player starts the game with 5 pieces of a color or shape and can start by playing 3, 2 stacked pieces or just 1 piece.
Players take turns making one move at a time, marking an empty cell on the board.
The player can place a new piece in one of the cells or choose something that is already on the board.
If the player has no more pieces to move or place in one of the cells, they must pass once.
Fill Rule
The player can move any of his pieces around the board. If the player has already placed stacks with 3 or 2 pieces, they can move the first piece from the top and occupy one of the side cells on their turn.
This can only happen if another player does not place one of their pieces on top.
Each stack can have a maximum of 3 pieces and when it is moved, only one piece at a time can be removed from the pile even if three or two of the top pieces belong to the same player.
Victory
The player who forms a row of 3 of his pieces, whether vertically, horizontally or diagonally when looking at the board from above, wins the game.
Draw
If in a game two lines of 3 pieces from two different players are formed, it will be considered a draw.
Strategy
The strategy in the game involves looking for winning opportunities and at the same time trying to block the opponent's moves, preventing him from forming a row with 3 pieces.
Files Format Included
.STL
With the purchase you get:
5 3D models
game_board_Ax4
game_player_Ax5
game_player_Bx5
game_player_Cx5
game_player_Dx5
files in STL format.
*The 3D models are ready to print and in full size.
*Each file has in its name the number of times each piece needs to be printed.
File game_board_Ax4, needs to be printed 3 times.
File game_player_Ax5, needs to be printed 5 times.
the other files follow this same logic.
Improvements were added to parts and optimization of the printing area, reducing the size of the project as a whole.
The game board and all pieces can be printed in two batches as long as the printing area is 220mm x 220mm.
