DESCRIPTION

This time I bring the classic chess game with a conceptual aesthetic made by me. The main idea was to have stilyzed pieces with a cool but simple board that can be splitted in two for transportation. You will need 10 magnets (10mm diameter - 1.7 mm depth) for the attachment system but it's not 100% neccesary. I tried to optimize the board, creating thin walls with some ribs and trying to use just a few supports in some important parts. Related to the pieces, I hope you enjoy the design as well.

Fixes Reports:

10-05-23 : During design process discovered the correct position for numbers and letters for the board but I 3d printed the prototype v1 with this issue. Files are correct but the real photos aren't.

Technical specifications:

FDM - Tested on Artillery X1 V4 OG version.

Board: 200x200 mm (square).Print it upside down - Supports (tree) required - 20% infill - 0.28 mm layer height - Slow first layers.

Pieces: Dimensions can vary. Print them as a group (recommended) - Supports (tree) required - Ideally 50% infill - 0.12 mm layer height.
