Drizzt DoUrden 3D print model

Description

This is my interpretation of Drizzt Do'Urden from the popular book series The Legend of Drizzt by R.A. Salvatore. First model of a series of forgotten realms characters I will be releasing! I hope you enjoy!

Hello. Can you tell me, please, is the figure solid or will it be printed in parts?

The swords print separately but everything else is one mesh

Yeah, there are no separate swords amongst the files. I saw you had those on a different platform though. I was under the impression that they were uploaded here, too. :( This way you cannot really print the swords correctly, they are too thin. If I could print them separately, I could make them a bit bigger so they don't wiggle like a flag. :_(

originally says it's suppose to be free. disappointing that it turned out to not be. you need to update it. misleading >:I

I'm not sure where you saw that. The model has never been posted as free. Maybe CG trader had issues and showed something it shouldn't have

The swords are sadly crazy thin: not really the best thing for resin printing. The hair is very elaborate, again: a bit too elaborate for printing, each thin windswept hairpiece adds to the possibility of failure. Even after you finally start getting everything without failing, and curing the model properly, the swords are very feeble, flopping around and often curving in more than one point. Printing the model at 120% size (that's the maximum that fits my printer) kind of made this swordfloppyness :D a bit better after curing. Other than these two issues, it's a delicate, beautifully made model though, so no regrets, would buy it again. :)

Detail is amazing! The swords were too thin on my prints from a resin printer so they came out more like wiggly noodles but overall the rest of the print was amazing!

The author's design is great and I like it very much. I will continue to buy the author's works.
