Chess Bored 3D print model

This is a portable chess board. Each square of the chessboard is individually pieced together, allowing for easy storage. There's also the option to print the A1, A8, H1, and H8 corner pieces for a more traditional board.

If you enjoy this file, I have also designed an entire set of chess pieces as well.

Print Instructions

• Material: PLA or PETG
• Supports: No
• Orientation: Place the bottom flat on the build surface

Pieces

• 64 basic piece (32 in one color and 32 in another) or, if you plan to print the custom corner pieces, 60 basic piece (30 in one color and 30 in another)
• If you choose to use the custom corner pieces, you will need one A1 piece and one H8 piece (these should both be printed in the same color)
• If you choose to use the custom corner pieces, you will need one A8 piece and one H1 piece (these should both be printed in the same color)

Usage (usage is detailed in the pictures)

• Assemble the pieces in an 8 x 8 grid, with the colors alternating
• If you choose to use the custom corner pieces, place the corner pieces in their respective corners. A1 goes in the bottom left, A8 goes in the top left, H1 goes in the bottom right, and H8 goes in the top right. The colors of the pieces should match the alternating color pattern of the rest of the board.
