Tekken 3 Arcade Cabinet with Lithophane

Tekken 3 Arcade Cabinet with Lithophane 3D print model

Description

This piece is a themed Tekken 3 Arcade Cabinet.Tekken 3 (鉄拳3) is a 1997 fighting game developed and published by Namco as the third entry in the Tekken series. It was released to the arcades in March 1997.It maintains the same core fighting system and concept as its predecessors.[6] Three-dimensional movement is insignificant in previous Tekken games (aside from some characters having unique sidesteps and dodging maneuvers), but Tekken 3 adds emphasis on the third axis by allowing characters to sidestep in or out of the background.

The idea behind this project was to recreate this arcade cabinet by using lithophanes to act as the original vinyl panels.

This is a 2 piece set, composed of the arcade cabinet itself and it's base. I've shown an example in the pictures how we can light up this piece, but take into consideration that we can use the light according to your own creativity (different colors, intensity, position, etc.).

Behind the piece you will find a small hole just in case you want to use a light source with a cord (e.g. LED strip).
