The Citroen C5 X7 generation, launched in 2008, was mercilessly mocked and criticized for having a rather silly cupholder located inside the centre cubbyhole, beneath the armrest. Many solutions have been offered but usually they involve sacrificing the tray beneath the radio.
This solution comprises of removing the tiny and, frankly, rather limited storage area between the gearstick and the centre armrest, and replacing it with this 3D printed cupholder. It can hold various types of coffee cups, a 33cl can and small water bottles up to 0,5l in size. This is also a completely reversible solution, so if you like, you can remove this and replace it with the original cubby area.
This model does not need supports generated for printing as they have been included in the actual model. They can be removed by carefully using a box cutter or some type of blade. Please see the pictures on which elements are the removable ones.
It is highly recommended you use ABS or some other kind of filament that is resistant to heat, as materials such as PLA will lead to the printed model melting if the car is left in the hot sun.
