As with most of my projects, it started with the need for a solution to a problem. In this case, I needed a mount for my Uniden scanner and there are very few options out there to mount the relatively heavy hand-held device in your car without it being floppy and unstable or losing accessibility to any of the buttons and functions. This mount solves those issues and I’ve been running one in both of my vehicles for almost a year now.

The scanner can be inserted and released one-handed but is still held very securely so that the controls can be manipulated with minimal flex. All buttons, dials and ports are easily accessible.
