It is an interesting mount for THETA (a spherical camera, RICOH)When you are taking a spherical photo remotely (without a normal mount (e.g. a tripod mount), you might have to put the THETA camera vertically on ground. If the ground condition is wet or dirty (e.g. on beach, on snow plane, or on gravel), you might hesitate to take the photo. Even if you might out it on yours (e.g. bag), it might not be easy to stand it straight, resulting in a risk of the damage of the lens due to its falling (Actually I have experienced such a thing). In addition, simply, it might tiresome to take normal mount due to its size and heaviness, and to connect the camera and the amount at the screw part.

In such a case, if you take “Hug-mon” with the THETA camera, you definitely feel its usefulness. You need not have the time to look for some proper place to take the photos and to connect them
