Sabine Wren Gauntlets from Star Wars Season 3 Rebels Mandalorian 3D print model
Description
These are the files for our new Season 3 Star Wars Rebels Sabine Wren Gauntlets.
These files have been test printed to print reliably in ABS and PETG as well as PLA. We went through about 8 versions before we where happy with the design.
It comes in 3 sizes Small Medium or Large but you can always scale your own size using software. However the sizes are based roughly on the existing Death watch and Bo Katan gauntlets.
All the files you need are in the zip file, the large STL is just all the files together but the ones in the zip file have been oriented for better printing
These are very sceen accurate, however this means they are a rather short gauntlet compared to others as this is how they appeared in the movie.
The design uses a locking pin, which I recommend using a 2mm bicycle spoke to close the clam, the other side latches in to give you as close to screen accurate as possible.

i purchased the files a few months ago for a friend's Sabine costume but i've been hesitant to print them due to some speculation as to the hinge being on the inside edge of the gauntlet.

I personally print about 3 of these a week for people through my own etsy shop and have been doing so for almost a year. So unless you have a particularly badly calibrated printer there is absolutely no issue with where the hinge is, actually its more of a clasp than a hinge on this model.
The hinge has to be on the inside edge, one to maintain screen accuracy, the other so it stays in place while being warn, as the tension holds the clam in place, if it was on the outside it will just open up too easily
