TFA X-Wing Pilot Helmet - 3D Print Ready 3D print model
Description
Update Nov, 2017DO NOT SCALE THIS TO LESS THAN 90% OF IT'S ORIGINAL SIZE.The walls are 3mm thick at 100% size. Once you go past 80% scale, the walls become thin so if you do want or need to go to 80% or lower, please use several shells and also possibly run it through meshmixer to make it more solid. Not much I can do about it, when you uniformly scale a model, yes the size changes but also does the thickness of walls.
The New Red/Black design of the X-wing Helmets in TFA were one of those helmet designs that just stuck with me, so here is my attempt at a version hopefully close enough to compare.
20+ parts in total (full, un-cut helmet is also included)
Cut for a Cr-10 build plate, so should fit most people's printers, if not let me know and I can re-cut for your device and i'll send you the files via message here.
DIMENSIONS - 31.3cm Ear to Ear.

Hi Kevin,
You were sending them as model support requests, they do not give the same notifications as a Private message, but this place likes to just throw them all into one spot when you receive them, apologies. Do you notice how I had not even replied to your first message?
Product support is generally when you require help in printing the item, cutting it, knowing what infill to use etc, which most people can figure out on their own, whereas in your case, you are requiring a complete rework of several parts, if not all.
After reviewing the images you posted to me, the custom hand made helmet you want copied would require so many changes to the original that a custom job would be required - that does not fall under the category of product support anyway, that is a custom job request.
Once again I am sorry for not replying more promptly, the messaging system is getting better but it still needs work.

no probs man, not your fault really since you've been nothing but super responsive here.
Regarding the helmet, if you do want to make changes to it, it'll make your model be accurate, but if you don't it's your call man :)
