ASSEMBLY

  • you’ll need 4 mm diameter metal rods for the finger mechanism axles.
  • use the assembly images or the OBJ file.

Open the OBJ file in Blender, 3D builder or any similar 3D viewing program, click ''separate'' and you'll see the separated pieces and where exactly it belongs. • total weight of our build: 2.1 kg • completion time (printing, assembly, painting): one month

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

  • Layer height 0.15 mm
  • Infill 10%
  • Supports 45°For parts that are tall but have a small base, we use a 10 mm brim for better bed adhesion.Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

We try to make the models in a way that uses as little support material as possible.This model is meant to be post-processed after printing. This can be gluing, sanding, painting, etc. We use hex-pegs (included in the files) that will help you connect the cut pieces of the model. The mechanical glove is an advanced build and took us about one month to print and complete.
