The distinctive Stanford University logo is one of the most handsome of all American college logos. We've perfectly reproduced it in three dimensions with the famous California redwood emerging prominently from the solid Block S.
The symbol of Stanford has an interesting history. The school's color of cardinal goes all the way back to 1891. Stanford student athletes were known as the Indians from 1930 to 1972 but the university nickname was changed to the Cardinals in 1972. TheCardinal, was made official in 1981 when the trailing s was removed as the school nickname always reflected the color and never the bird.
We replicate the logo in the official cardinal color (of course) with the ubiquitous California redwood tree (a representation of El Palo Alto, a tree that lives in Palo Alto) in a deep green hue. Made of premium cast stone, it's also available in bronze or vintage gray finishes. A discreet Stanford script graces the base and free shipping is always included on this heirloom quality statue.
