dave-r-lockwood2024-12-11 16:43:06 UTCAs was mentioned by another purchaser, the model is great, but I'm not totally sure it should be labeled as being Ready for 3d Printing. I was able to print one of these out, but some of the details can easily break off due to being thin when paired with needing supports. As also mentioned, there is some non-manifold edges in the STL. While the model is well done and I am glad to see someone has worked on this, I'm not sure if $33 for a model with such restrictive licensing is worth it. I would say that either the license needs to be a bit more flexible or the price needs to go down.
I will leave the rating as positive, but would still recommend caution before purchasing this for the purpose of 3d printing.
pwatsonfx2024-08-15 18:22:57 UTCI'm hesitant to put a negative rating because it's the only STL I can find of the item so by default is the best one available. Downloads and pulls into slicers fine but it's not manifold and has to be repaired. This is fairly easily done with various software that you probably already have if you 3D print but at the price point I can't say I'm not disappointed.
EDIT: I've now run the STL through NanoDLP, 3d Builder, Aspose, and Lychee's repair tools and the model cannot be repaired sufficiently to print. I sadly can't use this file without pulling it into Blender and fixing it manually which is beyond my skill level. I can't recommend this for someone that needs a print ready file.
jrmiller052023-10-26 02:40:18 UTCI'm so excited I found this -- I had a friend print it and he said it worked as expected. It looks amazing! I'd love to see the original version of the statue someday, too. :)
