This is the third Max Grueter pilot figure that I have purchased and was very happy with the Luftwaffe Bf109 pilot and Spitfire pilot, printing those for use in RC Models. I'm a little disappointed in this one, prior to printing, by the flat back to the torso, which will not sit well with a scratch built pilot's seat. I also much preferred the ball and socket for the alternative pilot heads, which gave excellent possibilities for positioning the head. In my Spitfire a servo mounted in the body allowed the head to rotate in unison with the rudder. I've now printed the bust and head at 1/11th scale and definitely dislike the separation of the two components on that inclined plane - it creates a visible edge that will need to be made good. The missing back of the figure, represented as a flat plane is also not a good feature at all, in my opinion. Is there any chance of an update to address these issues?

Hello Good idea - I have added a bust part. All parts are now easier to edit in one single ZIP document. You only need to download it. All parts are now more editable. All other dimensions have to be adjusted by yourself. Greetings, Max Grueter

Thanks very much. I am printing this as a favor to a friend. It appears the head he wanted to use is not in the new download. One is duplicated. He want the one with goggles on, and no OXY mask. Could you add that one in? Again, thank you so much for the new file. I get great compliments on your Pilots in my models, after they are painted. VR

"The desired print parts can be easily separated, for example, using Meshmixer" Right, maybe for someone with your talent. I just need the head and the shoulders. Now I am lost trying to figure out how to print only the parts I need... Should have bought the Spitfire Pilot.

Nice model, having issues getting any detail out of it at 1:72 scale... but many variables to be taken into consideration. Likely prints great at 1:32.
