Description

Osiris Egyptian God figurine 3d printable model

Osiris, the deity of the deceased, was born as the son and eldest offspring of Geb, the Earth god, and Nut, the sky goddess. His partner and sibling was Isis, the goddess associated with motherhood, magic, fertility, death, healing, and rebirth. It was believed that Osiris and Isis shared a profound love for each other, even before their birth. During the New Kingdom period, Osiris was revered as the ruler of the underworld, the realm of the Afterlife.

In ancient mythology, prior to his role as the master of the Afterlife, Osiris governed Egypt, imparting knowledge of agriculture, laws, and civilization to humanity. However, Osiris's brother, Seth, harbored intense jealousy towards him, leading Seth to murder Osiris and dismember his body, scattering the pieces throughout Egypt. Following Osiris's demise, Seth assumed the throne of Egypt, with his sister Nepthys as his queen. Witnessing the grief of her sister, Isis, who mourned endlessly for her deceased husband, Nepthys took pity on her. Utilizing her formidable magical abilities, Isis embarked on a quest to locate her husband's remains, reassemble them, and revive him long enough to conceive a child together. With the assistance of Nepthys, Isis traversed the land, gathering Osiris's scattered body parts, binding them together with linen wrappings. By breathing life back into his body, Isis successfully resurrected Osiris. Reunited, the couple soon welcomed a child through magical means - Horus.Osiris Egyptian God figurine 3d printable model
