Medusa Statue 3D print model

Description

Medusa Statue for 3d print

Another statue of the Greek goddess Medusa, in this case in a more upright posture. The model is divided into parts for easier painting and assembly.

Medusa (in ancient Greek Μέδουσα Médousa, ‘guardian’, ‘protector’) was a female chthonic monster, who turned into stone those who looked into her eyes. She was beheaded by Perseus, who then used her head as a weapon until he gave it to the goddess Athena to put on her shield, her aegis. Since classical Greek antiquity, the image of the head of Medusa appears represented in the device that wards off evil known as Gorgoneion. The myth may have its origin in the abolition of the cults of the Carian Moon goddess and the Libyan Neith in the which the priestesses wore gorgon masks.
